The LG 43PK640S0UB is a 43-inch 4K commercial TV for lobbies, waiting rooms, break rooms and small meeting spaces. It replaces the earlier 43UR640S9UD and runs webOS 25, so content is scheduled and managed over the network with no media player attached to the back of the screen.

A 3840 x 2160 panel at 43 inches keeps text readable at normal room distances, which matters for menu boards, waiting room notices and dashboards. Direct LED backlighting lights the panel from behind across its whole area rather than only from the edges, so brightness stays even through a long day.

Managed from your desk with webOS 25

webOS runs on the display itself. Schedule screens on and off, push content to several rooms at once, and lock the settings so nobody changes the input from the remote. Embedded Contents Manager and Group Manager are built in, and the display works with LG SuperSign CMS and LG ConnectedCare, both sold separately.

Built-in tuners for live TV

ATSC, Clear QAM and NTSC tuners are built in, plus IPTV support. Connect an antenna or an office or hotel cable feed and live channels play with no set-top box. That makes it a fit for break rooms, waiting areas, bars, gyms and hotel properties that need live TV and scheduled content on the same screen.

Worth knowing before you order

• One HDMI input. If you are replacing a 43UR640S9UD, that model had three. Plan for a switcher if you need more than one source.
• 270 nits. Correct for an indoor room. Not bright enough for a storefront window in direct sunlight.
• 200 x 300 mm VESA. The previous model used 200 x 200 mm, so an existing bracket may not line up.
• No headphone output. Use the optical or external speaker output instead.

No, it is the replacement. Size and resolution match, but brightness is 270 nits instead of 300, there is one HDMI input instead of three, the VESA pattern changed to 200 x 300 mm, and it runs webOS 25.
